For the people who like wood

For stumps, we’ll use cypress as termites don’t like it

For the joists and sleepers, we’ll use treated pine

And for the deck, we’ll use beautiful merbau wood.

 

it is very resistant and durable. Unfortunately, it’s only recently that I read that the ipil tree was an endangered specie. I would hate to have contributed to the disappearance of such a beautiful tree.
